President focuses on timber harvesting and demand for machinery

The President has drawn attention to timber harvesting. Volumes are increasing, which means demand for machinery is growing. He emphasized that the forestry sector cannot operate without modern equipment: 'We can no longer work with axes and saws — harvesters and forwarders are indispensable.' He stressed the need to improve quality, noting that as a machine-building country, Belarus must focus on this. The equipment also has significant export potential.
