President sets priorities for new regional assistants
📣 The President has outlined key priorities for his newly appointed regional assistants:
To the assistant for the Gomel Region:
💬 "I want the Gomel Region to resemble the Grodno Region. That is the essence of my appointing you to this position."
To the assistant for the Mogilev Region:
💬 "You are an active person. Probably no one at the table has more experience than you. Everything will depend on how active you remain. You know the Mogilev Region well. The issues and prospects I discussed yesterday are not new to you."
To the assistant for Minsk:
💬 "Your appointment is aimed at ensuring that one hand does not wash the other. Officials must focus on their responsibilities. You must take a principled approach."
❗Key message from the President to all:
"I don't want any conflicts between assistants and governors. Both of you are my children, figuratively speaking. But that doesn't mean you should blindly follow the governor. Yes, you must help, and you will jointly represent and be responsible for the development of the situation in your region. However, you must have your own opinion—you are personnel inspectors. Cadres decide everything, as the classic said. If there are competent leaders (and you all know this well, you are experienced people), then things will move forward. Therefore, through the personnel you supervise locally, I will assess your work."
