Russia proposes nationwide ban on vape production, import, and sales

Activists have submitted a proposal to the government, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Finance to completely ban the production, import, and sale of vaping products across Russia. One of the stated reasons is the rising number of cancer cases among young people. Currently, regions can independently restrict vape sales, but there is no unified federal ban. The initiative is supported by the Federation Council and the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.
