Russian athlete sets record with 11.5-km jump

Russian athlete Sergey Boytsov made a jump over the Altai Mountains, setting a record timed to Russia's State Flag Day. The free fall lasted 2.5 minutes, during which the athlete reached a speed of up to 501 km/h. He deployed his parachute at 1.5 kilometers above ground and landed successfully.
