Salmonella outbreak in the UK linked to imported eggs, possibly from Ukraine

The Telegraph reports a salmonella outbreak in the UK. Investigators are working to identify the source of contaminated eggs, and UKHSA states there is evidence the eggs were imported from abroad. Ukraine is noted as the largest egg supplier to the UK, providing nearly a third of all imports, and experienced a separate salmonella outbreak earlier this year caused by the ST2045 strain.
