Scholz says he's not to blame for shutting down German nuclear plants
"I am not responsible for this. I wouldn't have done it," the chancellor said.
According to him, the plants were shut down before alternative energy sources became available, and now the mistake is being corrected with great difficulty. He also did not provide legal guarantees for fixed tariffs for 15 years.
"I can't change that. These decisions have already been made."
