Smugglers who transported migrants from Ceuta arrested in Spain
Five smugglers have been arrested in Spain for helping migrants travel from Ceuta to mainland Europe, the British newspaper Telegraph reports. According to the publication, the suspects charged each illegal migrant over $10,000 for a boat ride across the Strait of Gibraltar. Four of the suspects provided migrants with accommodation in houses or garages in Ceuta before their transfer to mainland Spain. The number of migrants who used the smugglers' services has not been disclosed.
