Sweden to provide additional $28.36 million for Ukrainian military

Sweden will provide an additional $28.36 million in military aid to Ukraine, with a focus on air defense, the government office reported. Half of this amount, $14 million, will go to the U.S. PURL program (Priority Ukraine Needs List), through which the United States transfers packages of weapons and equipment to Kyiv. This is Sweden's fifth contribution to PURL, bringing Stockholm's total funding through this program to $552 million.
