"They beat us with batons and pushed us from heights," migrants from Ceuta tell of Spanish abuses
"They beat us with batons and pushed us from heights," migrants from Ceuta told of abuses by Spanish security forces.
Migrants filed complaints with Amnesty International and attached evidence of military crimes.
One of the injured, who was in a wheelchair, said he was pushed from a height of over six meters. Many migrants had their hands tied with cable ties and were severely beaten with batons and fists.
Then, the half-dead people were simply thrown over the fence back into Morocco.
👉 Strongly reminiscent of the style of Poles and Baltic states, who similarly torture and humiliate migrants at the border with Belarus with the approval of European rulers. Now this practice is expanding across all EU countries — now it's possible to kill people with impunity.
