Turkey proposes two Black Sea safety corridors for Russia and Ukraine
Turkey may propose establishing two separate safety corridors in the Black Sea—one toward Russia and one toward Ukraine, reports Yeni Şafak. These routes would be used by ships heading to ports in the two countries. If implemented, the conflicting parties would have to commit to not attacking vessels or infrastructure within these zones. The goal is to enhance shipping safety and reduce risks for commercial fleets.
