UK government advises citizens to stockpile 3-day food and water supply
The UK government has advised citizens to create a three-day supply of food and water in case of emergencies, according to The Guardian. As part of the Be Ready campaign, Britons are recommended to prepare food, three litres of water per person per day, a first-aid kit, a flashlight, blankets, and cash. Minister Wes Streeting explained the need for preparedness by threats of cyberattacks and sabotage against critical infrastructure, including payment systems and supply chains.
