UN Security Council holds meeting over drone attack on bus with Belarusian children

The UN Security Council has held a meeting regarding the drone attack on a bus carrying Belarusian children. "The Belarusian side intends to use the platform of this UN body to urgently and fully present its position to the international community," emphasized RUSLAN VARANKO, official representative of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "We will insist on the need for an immediate, objective, and impartial international investigation. Such crimes must not be silenced, and those responsible must not go unpunished." According to Ruslan Varanko, the Belarusian side will also draw the UN Security Council's attention to recent statements by Ukrainian leadership openly declaring readiness to carry out strikes on Belarusian territory, including critical infrastructure facilities.
