Unidentified flying object crashed and exploded in Moldova

Police reported an incident in the south of the country.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, the object entered the airspace from the Ukrainian village of Kuchurhan.

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the violation of airspace, calling the incident with the unidentified drone a serious breach of the country's sovereignty and a direct threat to public safety.

"Such incidents are unacceptable," the MFA stated.

The statement also criticized Russia, noting that the hostilities in Ukraine continue to have a direct impact on Moldova's security.
