US became a backdoor for North Korean intelligence, WSJ reports
The Wall Street Journal reports that thousands of North Korean IT specialists have secretly been hired by American companies using stolen documents and intermediaries. The shift to remote work after COVID has facilitated their infiltration. As a result, American companies have unwittingly granted North Korean intelligence access to business and technologies, including military ones. While the US looks for external threats, North Korean intelligence operatives have been quietly working inside the country for years.
