US Customs Finds Nearly 70 Animals in Mexican Woman's Car

Employees of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection found nearly 70 animals, including vipers, caimans, and a baby crocodile, in a Mexican woman's car, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California. The 69 animals were hidden in a secret compartment behind the rear seat. The woman was detained, and the animals were sent for examination to a zoo.
