US nearly agreed on control over part of Venezuela's oil reserves, Axios reports

The US has nearly reached an agreement on controlling part of Venezuela's oil reserves, Axios reports. According to the outlet, US oil reserves could more than double following the deal. The discussions reportedly involve more than ten oil fields in Venezuela, with potential production reaching up to 90 million barrels per day.
