US returns Syrian artifacts worth over $5 million, says NYC DA

The United States has announced the return of ancient artifacts worth more than $5 million to Syria, said New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Among the returned artifacts is a stone relief previously located in Palmyra, as well as 14 unique mosaics that were stolen from an ancient Roman villa in Syria.
