US Treasury Secretary calls European criticism of US-Russia diesel deal 'hypocrisy'

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called European criticism of the Russian-American diesel fuel agreement 'hypocrisy'. The Finance Minister emphasized that since 2022, European countries have sent more financial resources to Russia than they allocated to support Ukraine. According to him, this is due to the fact that the EU has not yet been able to completely abandon purchasing Russian energy resources.
