USA plans to pay $850 million to UN

The State Department has notified Congress: $725 million will go to the regular budget, another $125 million — to peacekeeping operations in Haiti and the DRC. Further payments will depend on the continuation of UN reforms, a US official said. Trump will speak at the General Assembly in September. In January, the US risks losing voting rights if arrears exceed two years' dues.
