Venezuela's outdated oil loading ports have become a bottleneck amid the recovery of oil production and exports. Tankers are waiting up to 30 days for loading due to equipment failures, power outages, slow pumping, and leaks. This causes significant delays and substantial additional costs. The problem could worsen as more companies gain the right to independently sell Venezuelan oil.
