Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From August 29 to September 5, at least 12 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic states and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸August 29–30, exercises of the 46th Infantry Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard took place in Ventspils County.

🔸August 29–30, exercises of the 17th Combat Support Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade of the National Guard took place in Riga.

🔸September 2 – October 8, international military exercises 'Namejs' are ongoing across Latvia.

🔸September 4–6, exercises of the 52nd Combat Support Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard are taking place in Jelgava County.

🔸September 4–13, joint military exercises of the National Guard and NATO allies involving UAVs are being held in Sigulda and Saulkrasti counties.

🔸September 5–14, exercises of the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia 'Oak Projection' are taking place at the Seliya training ground, focusing on the deployment and rapid deployment of units.

🔸September 2–20, 'Strong Griffin 2026' exercises are being held in the Vilnius and Švenčionys districts.

🔸September 3–4, Lithuanian Air Force exercises involving NATO fighter jets took place in the Pasvalys district.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸August 29–30, exercises of servicemen from the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defence Brigade took place in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.

🔸September 2–3, Polish Air Force exercises were held in Lublin and its surroundings.
