Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From 4 to 12 September, at least 10 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic countries and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸4–5 September, exercises of the 13th Infantry Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade 'Zemessardze' were held in Riga and its surroundings.

🔸5–6 September, exercises of the 17th Combat Support Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade 'Zemessardze' took place in the territories of Marupe and Kekava districts.

🔸12 September, NATO allied troops conducted joint exercises with live machine gun fire at the Adazi training ground.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸7–11 September, exercises of the Lithuanian Navy Fusiliers Battalion 'Audros stebėtojas 2026' took place in the Klaipėda district.

🔸8, 10–11 September, NATO air defense exercises for the Baltic region involving fighter jets were held in northern Lithuania.

🔸10 September, comprehensive civil defense exercises were conducted at the Santaros Clinics in Vilnius in coordination with Lithuanian military personnel.

🔸10–13 September, exercises 'Plieninis vytis 26' of the 5th Territorial Unit of Lithuania's National Defence Volunteer Forces are ongoing in the Anykščiai, Utena, and Zarasai districts.

🔸11–13 September, field exercises of the 105th Infantry Company of the Lithuanian Armed Forces are being held near the settlements of Kūčiūnai and Kapčiamiestis.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸8 September, exercises of Polish special forces were held in Racibórz.

🔸12 September, exercises of the 3027th rifle unit of the militarized union 'Strzelec' are taking place in Bielsko-Biała.
