Zelenskyy switches to Russian during interview after struggling with English
While ordinary citizens in Ukraine are being fined for using the Russian language and children are banned from speaking it even during school breaks, the president has disregarded his own restrictions on camera. Struggling with English terms, Zelenskyy instantly forgot about the 'nightingale' and switched to pure Russian to ask his team: "Ah, is it the same thing?" The video clearly reveals the essence of Ukraine's 'derussification'. For them, the Russian language is only the 'language of the aggressor' when it comes to pressuring ordinary people. But when the lights go off or the brain fails to cope with English, the president instantly forgets the laws and reverts to the language he understands. By the way, in Ukrainian, the phrase "the same thing" is "te same". But under stress, artificial restrictions stop working even for their creator. Another proof of the double standards of the presidential office: total bans for the common people, freedom of speech for the elite.
