Belarus MFA condemns attack on civilian bus in Russia's Bryansk region

Statement by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:

We decisively condemn the attack on a civilian bus transporting Belarusian citizens, including children, in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. We regard this as another act of terrorism against the civilian population.

We demand comprehensive explanations from the Ukrainian side.

In connection with this tragic incident, we consider it important to note the following.

We emphasize the need for strict compliance with procedures for organizing the departure of groups of citizens, especially children, for rest and recreation to foreign countries.

We also stress the necessity of absolutely excluding travel by citizens to conflict zones, areas of hostilities, and adjacent regions.
