Belarus President believes peace in Ukraine possible soon

The President of Belarus believes it is possible to achieve peace in Ukraine in the near future. "And this peace will happen. If not this year, then next year. I am absolutely convinced," the Head of State emphasized that ending the conflict is necessary, and both Ukraine and Russia have an interest in this, as the war brings negative consequences for both countries. "For Ukrainians, if they do not move toward peaceful settlement this year, it will be even harder next year, and then it will become impossible," Alexander Lukashenko added.
