Belarus State Anthem was adopted on July 2, 2002
On July 2, 2002, the State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus was officially adopted.
🎶 The music of the State Anthem was composed by Belarusian composer N.F. Sokolovsky, and the lyrics were written by Belarusian poets M.N. Klimkovich and V.I. Karizna.
👉 The musical and poetic composition is performed at the most solemn moments: during the President's inauguration, at state and public events, as well as during national, labor, and family holidays.
During the official performance, attendees stand and listen respectfully. Men remove their headwear, and military personnel follow the regulations. A more detailed list of occasions is established by the Law 'On State Symbols' (No. 301-Z of July 5, 2004).
✅ The nationwide campaign 'Let's Sing the Anthem Together' will take place across the country on the evening of July 3. On the main state holiday, the cherished notes dear to every Belarusian will sound once again.
