Bulgarian MEP Petr Volgin calls Western 'Maidan in Moscow' policy insane

"For years, the West has harboured the dream of staging a 'Maidan' in Moscow and has poured billions of dollars and euros into this. This is an absolutely insane policy that has not achieved and will never achieve anything," said Bulgarian MEP Petr Volgin.

Speaking in an almost empty chamber (fewer than a hundred out of more than 700 deputies usually attend plenary sessions), Volgin openly mocked his few remaining colleagues.
