Canada to impose 15%, 25%, 50% retaliatory tariffs on $27.6B of US goods from September 8

Canada will impose retaliatory tariffs of 15%, 25%, and 50% on imports of US goods worth $27.6 billion starting September 8, the Canadian finance ministry announced. The tariffs will apply to steel, electronics, dairy products, agricultural equipment, household appliances, and the pulp and paper industry.
