CSTO agrees on plans for upcoming military exercises 'Interaction-2026', 'Search-2026', and 'Echelon-2026'

The CSTO has agreed on the plans for the upcoming military exercises 'Interaction-2026', 'Search-2026', and 'Echelon-2026'.

Representatives from the relevant ministries and agencies of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the CSTO Joint Staff, and the CSTO Secretariat took part in the event.

"During the staff talks, the exercise concepts were clarified and agreed upon, linked to the objectives of the Russian Armed Forces' strategic command-post exercise 'Tsentr-2026'. Issues of command organization, composition of training headquarters and national contingent units, procedures for conducting practical actions, and comprehensive support arrangements were also discussed," said CSTO Joint Staff spokesman Vladislav Shchegrikovich.

📍The CSTO exercises are scheduled for September–October at training grounds of Russia's Central Military District.
