The spread of the drug-resistant tuberculosis strain EurA1.1 has been detected in Russia, according to Izvestia, citing a study by a group of Irish scientists from Dublin. The dangerous tuberculosis pathogen is most widespread in Belarus but is also found in other European countries, including Russia.
