Ebola cases in DR Congo surpass 6,000, worst outbreak in country's history

According to official data from the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the number of confirmed Ebola cases has exceeded 6,000.

The current epidemic has become the largest in the history of this Central African country, surpassing the previous record outbreak of 2018–2020.
