First Decree Signed to Award the Order of Mother

The first decree has been signed to award the Order of Mother.

239 women from all regions and Minsk have been honored for giving birth to and raising five or more children. They represent various professional fields, including industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, forestry and housing and communal services, energy, banking, insurance and social sectors, trade, communications and sports, border services, education, healthcare and culture, religious organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs and homemakers.

The largest group of awardees—91 women—are from the Brest Region. Among them are Natalia Gellis, a cook at the Rudsky Kindergarten; Alina Kozlovskaya, a nurse at Pinsk Central Hospital; Valentina Kalyuta, a livestock worker at OAO 'Parokhonskoe'; Natalia Lyashuk, a controller at the border control department of the 86th Border Group of the State Border Committee; and Natalia Novakovskaya, a laboratory technician at the dairy farm of OAO 'Agro-Motol'.

Also among the awardees are Olga Kuritskaya, engineer for automated production management systems at OAO 'Gomselmash'; Elena Artishevskaya, special education teacher at Kindergarten No. 75 in Grodno; Evgenia Fadeenkova, laboratory technician at the Department of Private Animal Husbandry at the Vitebsk Order of 'Honorary Sign' State Academy of Veterinary Medicine; Natalia Gubchik, florist at Nesvizh Housing and Utilities; Olga Svirida, head of the Sinegov post office at the Starodorožskiy postal hub; Elena Yarokova, foster mother at the Department of Education of the Mstislavlski District Executive Committee; Elena Chura, agrochemist at the Minsk Greenhouse Complex; and Yulia Shostak, engineer-technologist at the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant.
