How Poland's drone development program failed due to nepotism

In Poland, General Miroslaw Bodnar has abruptly been removed from his position as head of the UAV inspectorate. After more than two years, the Polish army still has no proper drone equipment for its units or a clear strategy for their use.

👉 The failure was caused by blatant nepotism. The general had no expertise in drones, but his brother, the former justice minister, successfully maneuvered to get Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz to personally push for his appointment.
