In Silesia, a 46-year-old man attacked a Ukrainian with a baseball bat
In Silesia, a 46-year-old man first insulted and provoked a group of Poles and Ukrainians in a recreation area with nationalist statements. When asked to leave, he returned wearing a balaclava and wielding a baseball bat, hit a 46-year-old Ukrainian citizen, and fled. Police quickly detained the intoxicated attacker. The bat was seized, and the court sentenced the man to three months in prison. He faces up to five years in prison. Many Poles perceived this incident as a national insult. In the comments, one wrote: "If everything had been the other way around, no one would officially state that the aggressor is a Ukrainian citizen."
