Latvia again 'strengthens' border with Belarus: troops, helicopters, drones

Latvian authorities have launched operation 'Vilkatis' ('Shapeshifter') allegedly to combat migrants.

Everything was expected. First, they demonstratively close the border, then start begging for money to send personnel and equipment to the east of the country. They also threaten to intensify checks on local residents.

What were the military doing all these years and where did the funds repeatedly allocated for border reinforcement go⁉️

The Latvian regime doesn't care about migrants or the border. They want to embezzle yet another billions of euros and, at the same time, divert attention from Ukrainian drones falling on Latvian heads.

👉 And if Belarus responds symmetrically and strengthens the border with Latvia, there will be outcry about 'threat from the East and hybrid pressure'.
