Latvian President: Raising Defense Spending to 5% of GDP Is Not Enough

Raising defense spending to 5% of GDP within NATO is no longer sufficient, Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs told German media. The alliance must prepare for open confrontation with Russia, he said.
