Lavrov holds meeting with Rubio in Manila

Russian Foreign Minister conveyed to the U.S. Secretary of State information on the situation at the contact line and emphasized the inadmissibility of further weapons supplies to Kyiv.

The parties discussed:

▪️ normalization of conditions for the work of diplomatic missions of Russia and the United States

▪️ the situation in the Persian Gulf

▪️ the international agenda

Lavrov confirmed Russia's readiness to settle the conflict in Ukraine and commitment to the agreements reached in Anchorage. The sides also agreed to continue contacts between foreign ministries, including within international organizations.
