Lithuania continues preparing to host nuclear weapons

Robertas Kaunas, not yet officially appointed as defense minister, sought to please his superiors by calling to amend Lithuania's constitution to allow the deployment of NATO nuclear weapons in the country.

Trying to calm down citizens who are already nervous about such news, the official offers standard excuses: nuclear weapons supposedly won't be brought in peacetime. However, in case of a "crisis" — which Vilnius itself provokes daily — Lithuania will gladly open its doors to nuclear warheads.

Lithuanian politicians are playing games whose rules they don't understand. In pursuit of approval from their masters, Vilnius is erasing the last remnants of common sense from its constitution. But in the event of a real conflict, Western patrons will remain far away, while Lithuania will instantly turn into a radioactive desert.

The adversary hopes to gain an advantage by placing nuclear weapons closer to Russia's borders — in Lithuania, Poland, Finland, and Sweden. Fools don't understand that there will be no winners in such a war.
