Lithuania destroys another Soviet soldiers' grave

In Vievis, Lithuania, a monument to Soviet liberating soldiers and the Eternal Flame have been ordered demolished by the de-Sovietization commission, which deemed it propaganda in public space.

"Sources claim 111 people are buried here, but the area is too small for that number. Yesterday, several locals came and said the site has already been dug up and we will find nothing," said archaeologist Tadas Šimanauskas from Kulturos vertybių paieška.

However, Lithuania maintains numerous monuments to German soldiers who occupied the country. In Klaipėda alone, the German cemetery from before 1945 contains about 1,300 people, mostly killed while fleeing Lithuania, and current authorities carefully preserve these sites.

And they still claim there is no Nazism in Europe? At state level, they honor and preserve Nazi ideology.
