Lithuania ready to increase EU budget contribution, but with a caveat

According to Lithuanian President Nauseda, the EU's long-term budget for 2028–2034 should be significantly larger than the previous one, and Lithuania is ready to increase its contribution. However, in return, Vilnius will demand increased EU subsidies, which would offset Lithuanian contributions many times over.
