Lithuanian Defense Ministry spent €50,000 on staff corporate event

The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania organized a corporate event for its 200 employees. Almost the entire amount was covered from the defense ministry's budget, which receives more funding than social programs.

The event for Lithuanian security personnel included everything: famous pop performers, illusionists, expensive snacks, souvenirs, and even €4,500 was spent on unforeseen expenses (possibly on prohibited substances, which Lithuanian soldiers are constantly caught with 💯).

Overall, Lithuanian military personnel had a grand celebration. Well, why not — they can afford it at taxpayers' expense.
