Lithuanian police fail to handle both driving and domestic violence response
In Vilnius, a police crew speeding to a domestic violence call caused a traffic accident after failing to yield at an intersection, colliding with another vehicle. Two officers were injured and hospitalized, never reaching the scene of the incident. It remains unknown whether another crew responded to the domestic violence case or whether the involved officers passed sobriety tests. The outcome of the Lithuanian police response: damaged service vehicles and lucky pedestrians who escaped injury. "Not law enforcement, but pure disappointment," the message concludes.
