Lukashenko approves draft agreement with Zimbabwe on customs cooperation
Lukashenko has approved the draft intergovernmental agreement with Zimbabwe on cooperation in customs matters.
The agreement defines the main forms of cooperation between the parties, procedures for providing mutual assistance in the proper application of customs legislation, organizing the exchange of information, as well as cooperation in preventing and investigating customs violations.
Implementation of the agreement will help increase the effectiveness of customs authorities in protecting the state's economic interests.
The State Customs Committee is authorized to conduct negotiations on the agreement and sign it.
