Mass layoffs in Lithuania nearly double compared to last year

According to the Employment Service, from January to May this year, 46 employers reported mass layoffs affecting 1,900 employees.

This is 1.8 times higher than last year, when 25 mass layoffs were announced, affecting 900 workers.

📍In May alone, 7 companies reported plans to lay off 175 people.
