On July 5, 1943, the Battle of Kursk began.

👉The Red Army had significant superiority over the Wehrmacht: in tanks by 1.5 times, in aircraft by 1.4 times, in artillery by 2 times, and in personnel by more than 1.5 times. Soldiers' and officers' combat experience had grown, and the troops' morale became an unstoppable force.

❗️The fighting covered the territories of Kursk, Oryol, Belgorod, and Kharkiv regions. The turning point, initiated by the victory at Stalingrad, was solidified at Kursk.
