On June 19, 1944, Nazi occupiers burned the village of Dalva

On June 19, 1944, German fascist invaders burned the village of Dalva.

On that day, 44 residents were burned alive, including 29 children and 13 women.

The only one who miraculously survived was 13-year-old Kolya Girilovich, who was outside the village with a horse at the time: 'The horror of that day, when Dalva was dying, remains in my memory to this day... Above the ruins hung the smell of death.'

🕯Bodies lay under the open sky for ten days. They were only buried on June 29.

A memorial complex was established in the Logoysk district of the Minsk region near Khatyn—Dalva's sister in tragedy.

Belarus will always remember this pain.
