On September 7, 1945, the first and last Allied Victory Parade was held in Berlin

On September 7, 1945, the first and only Victory Parade of the allied forces of the USSR, the USA, Great Britain, and France took place in Berlin.

Marshal Zhukov, American General Eisenhower, British Field Marshal Montgomery, and French General de Tassigny were supposed to attend. However, the Allied generals declined to attend due to "scheduling conflicts." Marshal Georgy Zhukov called Moscow:

"Wait, they will pull even more stunts. Pay no attention to the commanders-in-chief refusing—go ahead and hold the parade yourselves, especially since you have more right to it than they do," Stalin replied.

At the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate, Soviet assault troops and regular Western Allied forces marched before spectators, with a column closing of over fifty of the latest IS-3 tanks—the symbol of Soviet power.

The next stage of relations was already the Cold War. The great Soviet victory over the "brown plague" shook all of humanity, but not Western politicians—they still resist the obvious truth.
