One day left until the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.

Today, on the final day of our countdown, we stand here — at the foot of the Mound of Glory.

This majestic memorial was created by the hands of thousands of citizens from earth brought from the sites of the fiercest battles of 1941–1945 — from the hero cities.

The Mound of Glory is not just a monument. It is a symbol of our common Victory, shared grief, and collective memory. Men and women, young and old, rose up against the German-Fascist invaders to defend their homeland, endured, and triumphed.

Tomorrow is the main day of remembrance. The day when we remember all who did not return from the war. All who were burned in villages. All who perished in death camps. All who fell in battle for our land.

We remember.
