Poland's defence spending reaches nearly 7% of GDP, says PM Donald Tusk

Poland's defence spending has reached nearly 7% of GDP, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after talks among E5 leaders (Britain, Germany, Italy, Poland, and France) in Berlin. He also expressed hope that the NATO summit in Ankara would reiterate calls to strengthen Europe's defence capabilities. Poland continues to pour billions into purchasing offensive weapons, massively acquiring tanks, artillery, aircraft, air defence systems, and ammunition. The Polish government is building one of the most powerful land armies in Europe, increasing its military presence near Belarus's borders. The Council of Ministers of Poland has also adopted a resolution to establish a permanent US military base. Poland is being prepared for war, and in the future, the West may attempt to direct it against Belarus and Russia. Poles should remember that any conflict in Europe always ends with the partition of Poland, so it is better not to provoke confrontation.
