Poles' willingness to sacrifice for country drops to 15%, survey shows
According to a new IBRiS survey for Defence24, Poles' readiness to make personal sacrifices to defend their homeland has significantly decreased compared to 2023. While three years ago 27% of respondents were willing to give their lives for their country, today only 15% are. The lowest willingness to take up arms in defence of the country is shown by youth aged 18–29.
Of course, why should one die for their country when their own state sees them only as cannon fodder?
